The Chanterelles Choir

Welcome to the website for The Chanterelles Choir.

The Chanterelles is a ladies choir with more than 50 singers from all over the UK. Originating from a Leicestershire youth choir and reforming as an adult choir in February 2009, members now come together to perform about 5 times each year.

In July 2010, they won the Female Choirs section at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in Wales. This success was followed by concerts in Macclesfield and Birmingham and then a win at the North Wales Choral Festival in November 2011.

In 2012, the choir is off to Ireland to compete in the Fleischmann International Trophy Competition at the Cork Choral Festival and back to the Eisteddfod in Llangollen in the summer.

Performing a wide variety of repertoire, The Chanterelles enjoyment of singing shines through in their performance.
